Is that the second time I’ve managed to squeeze in an Austin Powers reference in the first ten posts on the blog? I’ve got to start watching some new movies!

Anyway, Here’s a great way to feature something at your wedding that nobody else will have: You can have a cake topper custom sculpted of you, depicting exactly who you are. It’s sort of a 3D caricature. Sculptor Matthew “Chief” Flesher was at the bridal show at the Owego Treadway on January 7, and I have to say that pictures do not do his work justice! One thing that does not come across in the pictures is the scale… these are larger than the average cake topper. The detail is really quite amazing. Be prepared for sticker shock though, these start at a price which is higher than many people spend on their photographer.
