Lauren and Robert have a great love for what they do, and consider it their "heart-work". Robert and Lauren see each wedding as a sacred event in which they seek to tell a photographic story with a distinct sense of artistry. They both know that it takes a remarkable affinity for people, expressions, and locations to be a superb photographer of weddings. They also feel it involves passion that is about being in the moment, and a sensitivity to the nuances, subtleties, and emotions unique to one’s wedding day. You’ve dreamed of it all of your life. You’ve walked down that aisle a million times in your mind, so when you finally do it for real, you can rest assured that I know how very much this special day means to both of you, and to everyone that you hold close. From all of the smiles, to the tears, from the little details and all of the big moments…..these are the things that I’m watching, anticipating… that I’m trying to “see” and capture for your memories. We have fun together, in fact, I’m frequently told that I blend right in with the rest of your “gang” and that’s really great in that it allows me to “hide right out in the open” and shoot those most unexpected and un-posed moments as they happen… when you least expect me to be there! Not a lot of suffering through hours of boring posed stuff either, because we can do much better by just letting the day evolve around us on it’s own, and by my being ready for it as it unfolds. On film, digital, or a combination of both, together we will venture to make that Special Day of your dreams, live forever, along with the joining of your two lives together.
